Introduction
Users may encounter several problems using a conventional mouse. First, the mouse requires that the user places his/her hand on top of the mouse in order for it to function. This results in some pain and fatigue issues, especially for the user's hand and wrist. This is due to the unnatural and awkward position in which the hand is placed. A method of enhancing the ergonomic quality of a mouse to make it more user-friendly is needed.

Description
To enhance the ergonomic quality of a mouse, using a grip-rod is proposed. An angled grip-rod is secured onto the proposed ergonomic mouse casing. The grip-rod allows the user to grip the mouse using his/her wrist in a natural writing position, as if he/she was using a pen. The grip-rod also allows the user to manipulate the mouse using his fingers rather than by laying the wrist flat on top of the mouse casing in order to manipulate it. As a result, the user may manipulate the mouse longer without pain and fatigue arising in the wrist. Thus, an angled grip-rod enhances the ergonomic quality of a mouse.

Additional information
Furthermore, the base of the mouse casing is made of a rubber material that cradles the wrist in accordance with the natural curvature of the human wrist. A rise on the base allows the wrist to rest comfortably on the mouse casing at a convenient angle. The base contains grooves. These allow the ring finger and the little finger to bend into the palm without a feeling of discomfort arising. The rubber material used in the base allows the wrist to have a permanent grip without the wrist slipping from the base.
